Technical Writer

The job:

• Creating datasheets, marketing brochures, user manuals and online help in English
• Writing technical articles, white papers and customer stories
• Finding clever ways to explain complex procedures with simple words
• Interfacing with Development and Product Management for technical introduction
• Assisting the marketing team in building strong and innovative messages
• Preparing rough drafts of the publication for review with the project staff and/or customers
• Producing or arranging for illustrations, charts, and photographs to be included in publications
• Improving the quality of internal and public information exchanges

Your background:

• Technical Author / Writer diploma or proven track record in writing technical documentation in English
• Proven experience in writing technical documents
• Technical diploma or strong proven technical background
• Good understanding of Communication technology
• Good understanding of Electronics
• Modern writing style; clear, precise, plain, short
• Must be creative and a good communicator
• Previous experience in the Test & Measurement market is a big plus
• English mother-tongue
• French speaking
